| Animation 1 illustrates negative ecological results. The animation is one example of eutrophation. Eutrophation is the accumulation of sediments (silt) and nutrients (such as phosphorus and nitrogen). Water loses oxygen. Eutrophation is a premature aging process of a body of water. Eutrophation has an impact on lakes, humans and fauna (fish).
As the baby grows into adulthood, the animation illustrates (1) sediments and nutrients entering a lake and presenting negative results. The sediments and nutrients are represented by the brown diagonal line animating on the bank on the left side the picture. (2) The fish population diminishes. (3) Algae and aquatic plants multiply. (4) The mud level rises. |
L'animation 1 illustre des résultats écologiques négatifs. L'animation est un exemple d'eutrophation. Eutrophation est l'accumulation des sédiments (vase) et des aliments (tels que le phosphore et l'azote). L'eau perd l'oxygène. Eutrophation est un processus prématuré de vieillissement d'une eau superficielle. Eutrophation a un impact sur des lacs, des humains et la faune (poissons).
